After nearly a month, today was
Oma's last day in
Bellingham. We got "fancied up" a bit and took
Oma out for some
B'ham seafood the night before last, and then we took a nice walk along the marina.

No one will recognize this famous Hollywood
blonde...

A simply perfect evening...

A light breeze, some "flower picking" (courtesy of the Hotel
Bellweather...)

Some sailboat gazing... and envy...

The above shot is for Grandpa Dave, my father, who insisted we
never look at the camera. He thought it was a lot more interesting if you were pointing at something...

The girls will certainly miss their
Oma. Kerry was very confused this afternoon after her dad and Jenica returned from the airport "sans"
Oma. It's difficult living so far away, for sure. It's also especially hard when we were all so pleased at how far both girls had come with their French and French pronunciations. Well, we are looking forward to her next visit where we will can
parlez encore and passe
le bonne temps ensemble (don't hold me to the spelling there, please). :)

I'm obsessed with getting my kids to look at the camera. I should take a lesson from your Dad's words of wisdom! :-) You took some great shots - and what a lovely evening you had with Oma.
