While I thought we would need water wings to reach this place Saturday morning, it was worth it. As the kids performed a rousing rendition of "IT'S RAINING, IT'S POURING, THE OLD MAN IS SNORING...." I navigated to Fairhaven to a pottery studio I've been wanting to visit since Jenica was a baby.
The girls are finally old enough! (Well, almost, anyway).

We certainly came nowhere near creating anything close to these lovely pieces, but still -- it was a really good time.
This coming Thursday we will pick up our creations and probably have a good laugh.
Overall, this was another reminder that this "getting older" thing is not so bad afterall -- at least for the kids. :)
